What is a Community? (Google Definition)

A group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.

A feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

The Caldwell Community Resource Center was created from a deep “Love” for our Community in my Heart, and years of Community Service.  In addition, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes January 2016 after taking medication for severe depression.  And, although through much Prayer, I came up with the concept of “Working together to Improve the Health of Our Communities”, I cannot do it alone.  It takes all of us to get the vision, know the vision and believe in the vision for Our Communities to make any Sustainable Health Improvements.

When you listen to my story, I am not perfect.  I come to you with many flaws and today I am comfortable with who I am in Our Communities.  This took many years of hard work on me.  I worked with individuals as well as organizations in various Communities to help me Understand and build up my Self-Esteem.

The Caldwell Community Resource Center cannot tell your story, but we can help you write your story.  There are so many ways that individuals in the Community can express their feelings and thoughts through Music, Art, Dance, Theater, Poetry, Fun Games, Writing, Communication, Reading, Book Clubs, Cooking, Community Gardens, Home Ownership, Sewing, Digital Media, etc.

We may not be biologically related to each other, but we are all One Big Community Family and need each other.  We are all linked together through a Common Bond.  It is the blood that flows through our veins! (Community)   Once that blood stops flowing through the Community, we are no longer alive and cease to exist.

It will take all of us Working Together As One!   The Caldwell Community Resource Center will survive and be sustainable in our Communities.  Every one of us need each other’s expertise to be shared in the Community and keep the Families Growing.
